Holes
It is possible to produce holes of various shapes without any additional production cost, providing that the hole is parallel to the compaction direction. For this reason it is possible to add weight reducing features without increasing costs (see image 6).
Holes which are perpendicular to the compaction direction (image 7) need to be obtained by machining (they are equivalent to an undercut).
