Undercuts

In this case, the same rules as for casting and forging are valid.

After compaction the part must be ejected from the die (tool) and so undercuts which prevent the ejection are not feasible in PM technology.

If they can not be eliminated, they must be obtained by machining after sintering (see image 4).
